1982

Is founded Air Temp de México, S.A. de C.V., a company that designs and manufactures air conditioning equipment and heat exchangers for the automotive industry.

1984-1988

Air Temp de Mexico becomes a supplier of A/C original equipment for models Encore and Alliance of Renault Mexico

The thermoforming process is implemented with Air Temp’s own technology.

1987

Air Temp became the national supplier for the Volkswagen Sedan.


1991

Air Temp´s solid infrastructure allows it to work with General Motors de Mexico, supplying the rear evaporator module for the Suburban Van until the end of production of said vehicle. Air Temp is awarded by the National Commission of Science and Technology with the “Gyroscope” award.


1992

We start operations with Nissan Mexicana manufacturing the evaporator and filter-drier for the Ichi Van.


1994

A new Air Temp division is established with the latest technology for the manufacture of coil type condensers; becoming the first of its kind in Latin America to produce 100% recyclable aluminum coils.


1995

Air Temp developed the A/C system for the Chevy (Chevrolet). Air Temp was designated Supplier of the Year by General Motors. This was the first of the three awards the company received for its Quality, Service and Price.

1997

Air Temp is certified for fulfilling the ISO 9001 Norm and QS 9000.


1998

Plastic injection and automotive heating systems are implemented within the production process of Air Temp de Mexico.


1999

Air Temp began the development and production of original equipment for Ford Motor Company. Air Temp developed an A/C system for DINA’s heavy duty trucks for a market in the United States, Canada and Mexico.


2000

A 3.5 million-dollar investment was made in order to build a new plant whose main purpose was to operate as the manufacturer of automotive radiators and heaters.


2001

Air Temp invested in the “Control Atmosphere Brazing” (CAB) technology, which allowed Air Temp to expand its range of products.

2003

With the HIAWATHA project, Air Temp develops an air and heater distributor for Bombardier used in the subway train of Minneapolis, Minnesota, US.

2004

Air Temp was certificated in ISO-14001 for environmental matters and ISO/TS 16949, for the automotive industry enterprises.

2002-2006

Air Temp is recognized by the Ford Motor Company to be a Q1 supplier. This certification is given to those who carry out all quality requirements.

Air Temp became a Ford Motor Company supplier for the Ford Ikon front module.

2007

Air Temp ventured into the manufacture of radiators and ACC units VW Trucks (now MAN). Also started plastic injection business for Harley Davidson.

2008

Air Temp of Mexico receives the VW Group Award.

2009

Negotiations are made with Air International Company to market platform components for GM Canada and Volkswagen Mexico.

2010

Air Temp de Mexico is established as a world-class supplier for PSA Group (Peugeot – Citroen) to supply their plants in Argentina and Brazil.

2012-2014

Air Temp de Mexico, receives for the second time the VW Group Award. (Puebla, Mexico).

Air Temp de Mexico, receives for the third time the VW Group Award. (Leipzig, Germany)
